Any resident of Surfers Paradise property concerned with their quality of living and the state of Queensland's future are invited to comment on the Queensland Plan.
This plan was created by the state government in order to improve facilities for the community, the strength of the economy, and the quality of living in the state.
"The Voices of Queensland provides Queenslanders a visual and interactive way to give their views on where they want their state to be in 30 years' time," said state minister for environment and heritage protection Andrew Powell in a July 18 statement.
"This initiative is part of The Queensland Plan, a long-term vision for our state, allowing Queenslanders to have their say about what is important for their future."
Residents of Surfers Paradise or Main Beach real estate are able to submit their opinions in video form (less than 60 seconds long) to the Queensland Plan website.
Some of the areas that the plan addresses include education and employment in the state, community engagement and support, maintaining and encouraging active and healthy lifestyles, and strengthening the economy.
